Redskins take the Wrong Side on Domestic Abuse

The Washington Redskins have had a rollercoaster of a season. After opening 2018 with 5 wins and 2 losses, the Redskins will go into week 13 with a record of 6 and 5 and Colt McCoy, second string QB, commanding the offense.

Starting quarterback Alex Smith broke his leg in gruesome fashion during the week 11 matchup with Houston. You can watch the video below. Viewer discretion advised.

There were brief murmurs of Colin Kaepernick being added to the roster to make up for the loss of Smith. Redskins president Bruce Allen has since made clear that there will never be a spot for Kaepernick on his team.

Sorry, Kaep.

But the Redskins organization is clearly in a state of panic. If you need evidence, look no further than the signing of Mark Sanchez as second-string quarterback.

Don't remember Him? Dirty Sanchez is the former Jets quarterback that had fans begging for Tim Tebow to replace him as starter...

Tim Tebow

Yes, with a passer rating of 73.9, Sanchez has thrown as many touchdowns as he has interceptions.

The playoff hopes of Redskins are in dire straits.

Then today, Washington made a claim Reuben Foster.

This is  a controversial move for the Redskins. Reason being, Foster was released from jail just TWO DAYS AGO after accusations of domestic violence.

Below is a video of Foster leaving the Orient Road Jail in Tampa.

But this is not Foster's first run-in with the law...

And despite this, the Redskins have decided to sign the most contentious linebacker in the league.

This is a declaration from Redskins that wins are more valuable than people. A domestic violence charge is no big deal for this organization, nor are the optics of paying millions to someone with a history of domestic abuse allegations.

Colin Kaepernick is too controversial. He kneels during the national anthem. But the player that just got arrested on domestic violence charges? Suit up, bud. You're heading back to the big leagues.
