Would Taylor Swift ever go to space?

The "Fate of Ophelia" singer answered the cosmic question during a radio interview on Monday (October 6), confirming that she has absolutely "no reason" to take a trip to the cosmos. In fact, she was "completely freaked out" just thinking about the idea of leaving the planet, per People.

"Never! Why would I do that? There's no reason to do that. I don't want to do that ever... Oh my God, no," she said. "No. It's cold, it's scary. I don't know if I can come back down. If I go, no one will believe I went. It doesn't matter if you go 'cause everyone thinks you didn't go, or they have a weird take on it. I have no fascination."

The Life of a Showgirl musician isn't the only artist to have an immediate reaction to the thought of going to space. Her pal Ed Sheeran also admitted he would rather stay earthside and even turned down the chance to play the "first gig in space."

One musician with no such reservation is Katy Perry, who famously took a trip to the edge of space on a Blue Origin flight with an all-female flight crew that included Gail King and Jeff Bezos' wife Lauren Sanchez. While the historic flight made headlines, fellow pop icon Mariah Carey had no idea that happened and had the best reaction to hearing the news.
