Nicki Minaj has finally revealed a release date for the second deluxe version of her Pink Friday 2 album.
On Monday, August 26, the Harajuku Barbie posted a carousel of throwback photos featuring her husband Kenneth Petty and a cameo from her then-unborn child, whom Minaj calls "Papa Bear." One image shows the couple at Carnival in Trinidad & Tobago and others show them boo'd up by a jacuzzi. At the end of the carousel, Minaj surprised fans by revealing the official release date for Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded (Deluxe).
"9.13.24 #GagCityRELOADED THE DELUXE ALBUM 💿," she captioned the post.
Nicki Minaj confirmed the release date nearly two weeks after she announced the next U.S. leg of her "Pink Friday 2 World Tour." The "Everybody" rapper plans to travel to 22 major cities across the country beginning in Philadelphia on September 4. She'll bring her supporting acts BIA, Skillibeng and Tyga with her to other locations until she wraps things up in her hometown of Queens, N.Y.
"#GagCityReloaded will be a beautiful, magical dream come true," she wrote on Instagram. "Better than the 1st half & that wasn’t easy to do. 😐 New looks, set list changes, other secrets, ummmm new music? 😅Lemme think about it."
The Barbz in Cleveland, Ohio might see the Queen rapper in rare form. Nicki Minaj's second deluxe album will arrive on September 13, which is the Friday after her tour kicks off. She may perform some new songs that night.
