Katy Perry is proving why it's a "Woman's World" in her newest single, the first off her upcoming album 143, which drops later this year.
Perry kicked off her "confident" new era with her summery and empowering anthem "Woman's World." The former American Idol judge previously teased her return with jaw-dropping, futuristic visuals shot by British photographer Jack Bridgland that bring new life to the term "summer heat" as she modeled a small white bikini paired with cyborg-like leg coverings.
She also got fans excited for the bop of the summer by giving them a sneak peek at the lyrics in the most Katy Perry way — wearing a gorgeous red dress at Paris Fashion Week with a 200-foot-long train featuring lyrics like "It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be living in it/ Sexy, confident/ So intelligent/ She is heaven-sent/ So soft, so strong/ Fire in her eyes/ Feminine divine/ She was born to shine."
In addition to the track, she also released a cheeky accompanying music video that screams summer, from red-white-and-blue bikinis and Rosie the Riveter-inspired 'fits to monster trucks and "whiskey for women."

On Wednesday (July 10), Perry finally revealed the title, artwork and release date for her upcoming album 143, a follow-up to 2020's Smile that drops September 20 and features a hidden meaning in the name. The message "143" was once widely used in the '90s with pagers and in early texting as a shorthand to say "I love you," according to AirDroid.com.
Perry said in a press statement that she "set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message," per Pitchfork.
