Dog Rescued From Hot Car

Bradenton Police rescuing a dog from a hot car.

Bodycam video showing the dog was locked in the car, which was not running and had the windows cracked less than an inch before Sgt. Bordin smashed the window.

Once the window is gone, the dog can be seen panting heavily. Police said the temperature outside was at least 90 degrees.

Officers say the dog drank a liter of water before Animal Services took custody. The owner was located but the dog will remain in their custody during the investigation.
