SOBE Wine & Food Festival kicks off in Miami

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) is back for its 23rd edition, bringing together the world’s most renowned chefs, wine, and spirits producers, and culinary personalities for a four-day extravaganza of food, wine and fun. The festival, presented by Capital One, will take place from February 22 to 25, 2024, at various venues across Miami Beach and South Florida.

SOBEWFF 2024 will feature more than 115 events, ranging from intimate dinners and cookouts to seminars, demos, and master classes, to brunches and lunches, to themed tastings and late-night parties.

It all kicks off tonight with The 17th Annual; Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray, where guests can vote for their favorite burger from more than 30 contenders while enjoying drinks and live performances by Pitbull and Flo Rida. Friday night, it's a LIVE Triple-D (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) hosted by Guy Fieri.

Saturday night a big taco and tequila event hosted by Aaron Sanchez.

Festival Founder Lee Brian Schrager says on Sunday there will be a Bacardi block party hosted by Andrew Zimmern and Melba Wilson. He adds there are about 115 events between tonight and Sunday, which include a tasting on the beach. The Grand Tasting Village, is where guests can sample dishes from more than 50 restaurants and sip wines and spirits from more than 80 suppliers while enjoying live music and entertainment.

SOBEWFF is not only a celebration of food and wine but also a fundraiser for a good cause. The festival benefits the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University, providing scholarships, internships, and mentoring opportunities for the students. Since its inception, SOBEWFF has raised over $45 million for the school.
