Pitchers and catchers report this week for spring training. The Rays will hold their first workout on Wednesday, while the Marlins will have their first session on Thursday.
Full-squad workouts will begin next week for both clubs.
Meanwhile in Clearwater, the Philadelphia Phillies equipment van has arrived ahead of Spring Training. This is the 78th year the Phils have used Clearwater as their Spring Training home. Mayor Jennifer Poirier was there to greet the van's drivers when they arrived at BayCare Ballpark.
