Los Angeles Declares October 1st As 'Bad Bunny Day' In Honor Of His Impact

Benito is getting his own day in Los Angeles!

Yesterday, City Councilman Kevin de Leon declared Saturday, October 1st as "Bad Bunny Day" for Los Angeles as a way to honor the reggaetón superstar. The reason behind this is due to Bad Bunny's cultural impact he has had within the Latino community in L.A., which make up about half of the Los Angeles population.

"Bad Bunny's cultural impact will have a tremendous and positive influence on future generations and will redefine Latino culture in Los Angeles and beyond for years to come," De León said.

Bad Bunny performed at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood last night and will be closing out his "World's Hottest Tour" tonight in Los Angeles for night two.
