Demi Lovato paid tribute to her late friend with a new tattoo.
A week after losing her pal Thomas to addiction, the โTell Me You Love Meโ songbird decided to ink herself in his honor.โA T for Tommy. The touching tattoo comes in light of the devastating news about one of Lovatoโs closest friends who unfortunately lost his life after struggling with issues of substance abuse.
โDevastated. Please hold your loved ones tight. Tell them they are special and that you love them,โ the vocalist wrote in mourning in anย Instagram Story at the time. โMake sure they know it. RIP to my boo @sirtruss ๐ค๐ค๐ค.โ
She added: โAddiction is NO joke.. heaven gained this beautiful angel last night because of that terrible disease. Iโm crushed and will always miss you @sirtruss. If you or someone you know is struggling please know itโs okay to ask for help.โ
Thomasโ death hit home for the superstar, who, as fans know, survived a near-fatal overdose in July 2018. By the following October, it was revealed she'd been 90 days sober โ and remained clean ever since with the help and support of loved ones.
